Keeping a network neat and clean is important for more than one reason. First, it can help make the network work better as a whole. When there is a lot of clutter and disorganization, it can be hard to figure out what’s wrong or make the updates that are needed. A network that is clean and well-organized will run more efficiently, which can lead to better speed and performance.
Second, keeping the network clean can help make it safer. When there are a lot of devices or data that don’t need to be on the network, it can leave holes that cybercriminals could use. You can lower the chance of a security breach by reviewing your devices and data regularly and getting rid of anything you don’t need.
Third, a clean network environment can make it easier to add new team members or make changes to the network. When everything is well-organized and easy to understand, it is much easier for new employees to get up to speed and for existing team members to make changes that are needed.
Lastly, it’s just more pleasant to work in a network that is clean. When everything is where it should be and everyone knows how the network is set up, the workday can be more fun and productive.
In conclusion, keeping the network environment clean and organized has many benefits, such as better performance, better security, easier onboarding and maintenance, and a nicer place to work. To make sure the network is running at its best, it needs to be looked at and fixed on a regular basis.
